Dear friends & colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee it gives me immense
pleasure to invite you for AESURG’09,
Annual meeting of the Indian
Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, to be held at Radisson
Hotel Khajuraho from 27th -29th March 2009.
The
scientific Committee is working hard to put together an excellent
scientific program which will cover a wide range of topics. A
distinguished international as well as national faculty will share their
experience covering various aspects of aesthetic surgery.
This year again we have got permission from International Society of
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) to have a symposium along with our
meeting. ISAPS Symposium will be held on the first day of the meeting. The
symposium is being planned as a video workshop where the faculty members
will present their edited/unedited videos followed by discussion. This
will give delegates all the advantages and feel of participating in
operative workshop and we will be able to cover more topics then covered
in actual operative workshop. Dr Vakis Kontoes has very kindly agreed to
be the Coordinator of this workshop. He is collecting a distinguished
international faculty for this workshop.
Khajuraho, India's most visited monuments after the Taj, is
a collection of fascinating temples which are India's unique gift of love to the
world. These were built between 950-1050 A.D. by the Chandela
rulers. The divine sculptures in these temples are a tribute to life
itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous. The murals
depict the erotic state of being. The organizing committee is fully
geared up to host this event at Khajuraho. The scientific program is
being designed keeping in mind the main objective of Indian Association
of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons which is to fill in the gap of training in
aesthetic plastic surgery in regular plastic surgery training programs
in the country. The meeting is yet another step towards achieving this
feat.
Besides academic deliberations you will have ample
opportunity to socialize and relax at the 5 star venue. The all
